The digital concert season will continue on Sunday, March 21, with acclaimed guest pianist Vladimir Feltsman performing Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. ![]() “This season we invite supporters and patrons to join us as cultural innovators as we pioneer new ways to reach the community and continue to make a difference,” McClymont said. Instruments are being donated to deserving students and school music programs, musicians are conducting virtual coaching sessions and performing in-school concerts, a trio of musicians along with a music therapist are presenting virtual sessions for young hospital patients, and the Symphony recently recorded “One Small Step,” a multidisciplinary interactive concert that teaches scientific concepts, which will be offered through virtual field trips later this year. In fact, the Symphony’s season began not onstage, but with the commencement of education and community outreach programs that continue today. That means more than just great concerts. “Together we are continuing our mission of engaging, educating and entertaining the greater community of the Palm Beaches and beyond.” “The theme of our 47th season is ‘Reaching Higher Notes Together,’ and our loyal subscribers, members and donors are truly our partners in presenting a full season of internationally acclaimed guest artists during this challenging time for orchestras around the nation,” said Palm Beach Symphony CEO David McClymont. The performance, the first of four in an all-virtual series, helps to make great symphonic music more accessible than ever before - and is all part of the Symphony’s bold plan to use its 47th season to continue to bring music, joy and hope to its community despite the pandemic. In January, the Symphony kicked off its first-ever digital broadcast - a highly anticipated performance featuring National Medal of Arts honoree and violin virtuoso Pinchas Zukerman - which received rave reviews and reached music lovers across Florida, 18 states and three continents. Never before has it been easier to fit the entire Palm Beach Symphony in your home.
