Starting with the current day (unless you specify otherwise) the watch will transfer all appointments from that day forward until the watch's memory is full. into Time Trax, then synchronizes with the watch. The user enters all his appointments, etc. The Apple II software that controls it, Time Trax II can also serve as a stand-alone scheduling program. The UC-2301, in turn, communicates with the Apple II via the game port (internal). It communicats with the UC-2301 interface via a wireless connection. The Datagraph has 2K of memory, usable for storage of text. At $500, it doesn't appear sales were brisk, but the coolness factor remains. The Seiko Datagraph UC-2001 was marketed in 1985 as a PDA-on-the wrist. Other packaging and manuals look virtually pristine.Michael Rothe has designed a serial interface and is working on software to allow the Datagraph to work with modern computers. The original battery sticker on the case back is missing and the original inner foam tray was also missing but has been replaced. There are hardly any marks on it, too small to photograph. Condition: Used, Condition: I have listed this as used, but the watch looks almost brand new as can be seen in the photos. (Original Included)# International sales only via eBay GSP please. I have included images of the brochure in the listing, to give a better explanation of the watch functions. This made it the WORLDS FIRST watch with 2-Way data communication! RC-4000 series watches were so useful at the time that NASA gave the plastic version (RC4500) to the astronauts on the Space Shuttle "Atlantis" on Mission STS-43 in 1991, which allowed them to connect to a Macintosh computer and communicate with Mission Control via a Fax Modem, so they could send information and reminder alarms. A unique feature of these watches is that they could also transmit their data back to the computer using the optional RC-4200 adaptor (Included) so you could update your computer after editing. The original software was designed to run on older computers of the day, but it may be possible to run it on newer machines with an emulator and USB to Serial converter. The Wrist Terminal Data Manager program allows you to upload and edit your data. There is a small RS-232C serial port on the left side of the watch and a plastic clip attaches to the watch to allow a cable to be plugged into the serial port on the computer. With a Cable & Software Set, it could communicate with popular computers of the day like the IBM PC, Commodore 64, Apple II, II+, IIc and IIe and in the UK the BBC-B and Sinclair Spectrum using a cable and software (only listed cable & software included). you could have an alarm category with 79 alarms each with a 24 character message). You can input and edit data directly on the watch, using the buttons and a cursor. However it can be re-programmed from software and increased up to 12 categories or reduced to 1 category within the maximum of 80 "pages" in total. The default was 5 categories, each with 15 "pages" of data (3 x Memo, 1 x Schedule Alarm and 1 x Weekly Alarm). The watch has 2k of storage which held 80 “pages” of 2 x 12 characters and can be divided into sub-categories each with their own label. The display is a three-line dot-matrix display with 2 lines for data and one larger line for the time.
